Cycling Holidays in Mallorca

But today, we would like to talk to you about a way to discover Mallorca, which is gaining more followers every day. In fact, our island is already known throughout the world for something else: cycling holidays.

Visit Sa Calobra by bike, an amazing experience!

Because, also on roads, Mallorca is a paradise. Our Serra de Tramuntana rushes to the precipice from 1,445 meters of the Puig Major, the highest peak on the island.

Serra de Tramuntana, an incredible mountain range, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, occupies the entire north coast of Mallorca. The Ma-10 road runs from one end to the other, from Andratx to Pollença, on an amazing 112 km route.

A demanding itinerary, of continuous ups and downs, impossible curves and demanding slopes, which will make you sweat the shirt to the fullest. The reward, though, is well worth it.

And… How to fully enjoy bike trips in Mallorca?

Well, there are many companies that are dedicated to renting bicycles on the island. But we would like to recommend you to our Kilómetro Cero friends.

For several reasons: because its establishment is located in Sóller, one of the most beautiful villages in Mallorca, and possibly the best starting point for cycling routes.

Because they offer scheduled rides (almost every day), which you can sign up alone, or with your group of friends. Because happiness is always
older when shared.

Because they have been touring Mallorca by bike for a long time, and they know the best routes.

Because they are professionals, and they will take care that you enjoy, and forget everything else.

Do you still need more reasons?

🌃 El cel prepara secrets murmuris de mandarina. I les riberes del vent esgarrien taronjades. Jo tasto vergers. M'ajec damunt valls encoixinades. ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ #theweekoninstagram #ilovepiques #igersspain #photopills #clikcat #hallazgosemanal #primerolacomunidad #igworldclub #fotonline_es #igersmallorca #igersbalears #loves_balears #estaes_baleares #visitspain #serradetramuntana ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ #night_excl #night_shooterz #photonight #nightphotography #ig_nightphotography ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ #water_brilliance #water_shots #water_perfection ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️ #longexposureoftheday #ic_longexpo #longexpoelite #superphoto_longexpo #longexposure_shots #longexpohunter #longexposurephotography ▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️▫️

Vespa ride through the Tramuntana mountains

Mallorca has many incredible places to visit, and not all are accessible by sea. One of the most spectacular areas of the island, without a doubt, are the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana, which extend along the entire north coast of the island.

In the heart of the mountainous area is the beautiful village of Sóller, in whose harbor, as you know, is the base of MaksyBoats nautical services. And it is here, in Port de Sóller, where you can find the scooter rental office of our friends: Bullimoto.

Photographic boat charter on the North Coast of Mallorca

Last November, we had the visit of a very special client: mallorcan nature photographer, Marcos Molina. Marcos hired one of our boat charters with a very special purpose: to make a photographic report of the North Coast of Mallorca.

Taking advantage of a splendid winter day, with excellent sailing conditions, Marcos enjoyed the incredible coastline of cliffs and small coves, in a day trip between Port de Sóller and Sa Calobra. Next, we tell you about this trip, thanks to some photographs that Marcos has kindly given us.

Furrowing the skies of Mallorca

At MaksyBoats we are used to having a different point of view of Mallorca. On board a ship, we are able to enjoy a Majorca that remains hidden for most of the visitors of the island.

Something similar happens to our friend César Canudas, head instructor of Madventure Mallorca. César is a 31 years old mallorcan, settled in Sóller. His father’s love for aviation made him, from a very young age, his biggest dream was to fly. At age 17 he made his first flight, when he discovered that paragliding was the sport he wanted to pursue professionally. During these 12 years of experience, he has not stopped flying, becoming professional and performing several feats.
