Today we would like to propose a private boat excursion to one of the most special restaurants in Mallorca: Ca’s Patró March, in the beautiful Cala Deià, a small rocky beach with crystal clear waters and surrounded by the impressive mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana.

Before starting our adventure, let’s get to know ourselves: we are in Deià, a picturesque town in the Serra de Tramuntana that for decades has been chosen by painters, writers and artists as its residence. The truth is that they had good taste: Deià has a natural beauty, with that Mediterranean touch despite being located at the foot of towering mountains. There is no doubt that visiting Deià quietly, wandering through its streets, is a highly recommended walk.
Today, however, we are not going to visit the town center, but one of the many attractions of this small town: its famous beach, located a short distance from the town center: Cala Deià.
How to describe the beauty of Cala Deià? Imagine a great natural amphitheater made up of mountains and upholstered in the radiant green of the pines. Imagine that at the bottom of this amphitheater, open to the Mediterranean from its front, we find crystal clear waters of a turquoise blue worthy of the Caribbean itself.
This could be one of the many ways to describe Cala Deià. A very popular beach, with a parking area and easy access. It is not surprising that it is usually very visited during the summer season.
To avoid the crowds, we as always recommend you visit these fantastic restaurants by the sea, aboard one of our boats, with or without skipper, setting sail from the iconic Port de Sóller, our “home” and main base in Mallorca.
Since our destination is Ca’s Patró March, a restaurant wrapped in a certain glamor, for our excursion today we are going to choose a luxurious boat of 13 meters in length: the Sacs Stratos “Chapruski“.
Featured boat: Sacs Stratos "Chapruski"
This is an elegant, sleek and sporty motorboat and has often been referred to as “the 13 metres of comfort”.
The truth is that we love it 💙. Its great length makes it a very spacious boat, ideal to enjoy with total comfort its two solarium areas. Its great power of 600 HP makes it ideal also to enjoy nautical sports, such as wakeboarding or waterskiing.
Sailing aboard the Chapruski becomes a great experience thanks also to the professionalism, friendliness and skill of its great skipper, one of the few female captains of Port de Sóller. She is an expert connoisseur of this coast, and will recommend the best places to anchor, swim and enjoy the clean and crystalline waters of the Serra de Tramuntana.
Ca's Patró March
But what makes this restaurant so special? The first reason we can give, without a doubt, is its idyllic location, on top of a small cliff overlooking Cala Deià, making eating here a unique experience.
To tell the truth, the restaurant is quite simple, without great luxuries, but with that Mediterranean touch that makes it very authentic and “cool”. Being by the sea, his specialty could not be other: fresh fish and seafood, caught on the same day, are the star choice at Ca’s Patró March. They also have some meat dishes, as well as other typical Mallorcan dishes and desserts.
But there is one more reason that has to do with the fame of this restaurant. It is about her appearance in the TV miniseries “The Night Manager”, in 2016. A series that was almost entirely recorded in Mallorca, and that ended up catapulting Cala Deià and its restaurant to stardom.
In addition, for the most glamorous, here there is the possibility of rubbing shoulders with some celebrities from the world of film and television. So, it is normal that lunch or dinner (in summer) in this restaurant is something so coveted!
