Port de Sóller

Surrounded by some of the highest mountains in the Serra de Tramuntana, Port de Sóller is one of the essential places to visit in Mallorca, with its picturesque train and tram that continues to function as it used to, allowing access from Palma, the capital, through a spectacular mountain landscape. In the port of Sóller you can rent boats without a license and enjoy fantastic boat trips.

From Port de Sóller you can visit Sa Foradada to the South. Sa Foradada, which translates as “the hole”, is the name of this characteristic rock that rises a few dozen meters from the sea and forms a small peninsula. From here, you can see one of the best sunsets on the island. And if you want to stop for lunch, you should know that at the top of the cliff, with magnificent views, there is a very special little restaurant where you can enjoy a paella made over a fire in a wood oven.

Sailing north from Port de Sóller you can reach Cala Tuent, the largest unspoilt beach in the Sierra de Tramuntana.

Another destination that you cannot miss is Sa Calobra, a pebble cove guarded by huge cliffs. Very close to Cala Tuent is the Torrent de Pareis: a spectacular 3-kilometer-long canyon that begins its journey in s’Entreforc and ends at a small beach, giving rise to one of the natural monuments of Mallorca.

Port d’Andratx

Port d’Andratx (Mallorca)

Port d’Andratx is located in the extreme southwest of Mallorca. It is a picturesque fishing village at the bottom of a funnel-shaped valley. It is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful ports in Mallorca, as well as one of the most classy holiday destinations on the entire island.

The main city, built in the middle of the 20th century, is located on the south side of the port and retains its original essence thanks to the presence of fishermen.

From here you can rent a boat and sail to the Island of Dragonera. This legendary uninhabited island, which has been a National Park since 1995, has 361 species of different plants and endemic birds. Once you get to the island, you can explore its hiking trails and coves, and make friends with the native lizards that live here!

You can also visit Cala d’Egos, which is only accessible by boat or by a steep path between the cliffs. It is a small, unspoiled and not very crowded cove that, on an island like Mallorca with its popular tourist infrastructure, is something quite exceptional!

You will find shade under one of the trees right next to the pebble beach and the perfect conditions for diving and snorkeling.

Finally, you can go to the Sant Elm area. This little town also known as San Telmo is very popular for its seabed where diving and snorkeling is a joy. It is also a good place to anchor and taste its seafood and fish of the day, very fresh.

Cap de Formentor, reaching the very end and visiting the coves and beaches in the area, such as Formentor Beach. This beach, located 14 kilometers from the port, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in Port de Pollença area. There are several ways to get there by land, but navigating your own boat there is a really beautiful trip as you pass through Sa Fortaleza, small coves and a beautiful landscape.

Port Adriano

Port Adriano

We can say that Port Adriano is not just any port. It is not a small fishing port. It is one of the most modern and luxurious ports in the Mediterranean and an exceptional base for small, medium and large yachts. If you want to stop by to shop for designer brands or enjoy a high-class gastronomic day, you have come to the right place, since it has a nautical-inspired shopping center that integrates perfectly with the sophisticated surroundings.

From here you can get closer to the Malgrats Islands, which is a small archipelago of impressive natural beauty. Its crystal clear waters, rich marine life, bays and islets make the Malgrats Islands a true paradise on earth. If you like diving, this site will captivate you. It has a reef, declared a marine reserve, where you will discover all kinds of fascinating marine rarities.

Cala Figuera

(Although there are several places called “Cala Figuera” in Mallorca, we are going to talk here about the location near Santanyí town).

Cala Figuera is located about 60 kilometers from the Majorcan capital, Palma de Mallorca. The seafaring roots are undeniable in this charming little fishing village hidden between rocky cliffs, pine and fig trees. The facades of fishermen’s houses and boat sheds gleam in white that contrasts with the green of the shutters. Many fishermen’s houses have a terrace that overlooks the promenade, where they moor their boats in sheds. It is one of the best places to eat fresh fish and seafood, brought in daily by local fishermen.

From here, you can navigate through some of the most beautiful and well-known coves in Mallorca, such as Caló d’es Moro or Cala Llombards.

Caló d’es Moro is an incredibly beautiful beach located inside a tiny bay with steep cliffs, located 6 kilometers from Santanyí in the southeast corner of Mallorca. It is a small beach, but the 40 meters of beach are covered with fine, shiny sand. The water is crystal clear with the typical turquoise tones so abundant on the island. Perfect for swimming between the high cliffs.

Cala Llombards is a tiny and secluded beach, shaped like a cone, pine trees and bushes. It is surrounded by steep cliffs and rocky areas. The sand is white and soft and the water is crystal clear, ideal for snorkelling. This beach is for relaxation, not a party beach or with outdoor activities
